The North East Community Foundation has been enriching this town for 30 years.

“It was created with the donation of one single-minded donor who then went around and got a bunch of other people to join in,” said Jennifer Smith, North East Community Foundation.

Smith added the foundation’s mission is simple but impactful, to enrich the lives of the people in North East.

“Every corner of the community is touched by our investments. Annually, we tend to put in over $300,000 into the community benefitting everything from educational opportunities, basic health and safety needs, to things that make it enjoyable to live here and enjoy our historic unique way of life here,” she said.
