Grants awarded

The North East Community Foundation recently awarded $42,750 to support the following projects in 2022:

North East Arts Council

• $1,800 for Kids Art Club
• $3,800 for Missoula Children’s Theatre
• $4,000 for Picnic in the Park
• $1,500 for new Art Immersion project

North East Historical Society

• $2,700 for Gibson Day

Boy & Girl Scouts

• Boy Scout Troop 82: $2,600 equipment and campership fees for summer trip to Maryland
• Cub Scout Pack 57: $2,100 for materials and camperships for 35 boys/girls
• Boy Scout Troop 57: $2,000 for camperships
• Girl Scouts: $5,000 for monthly activities and camp scholarships for 60+ girls in 9 troops

The Door Student Services

• $13,000 for at risk teens to attend winter & summer camp

North East Recreation Commission

• $2,750 for ADA compliant pool steps

Lions Club

• $1,500 to provide boots and winter coats for kids up to grade 5
